The Climate Governance Initiative, Egon Zehnder, and the Nasdaq Center for Board Excellence held a webinar discussion on how boards can drive effective climate governance through successful oversight of their organisation’s corporate strategy, governance structures, disclosures and compensation, during Climate Week NYC 2024.

The webinar, available below, empowers board directors to step up as stewards of sustainability by exploring the crucial enablers of effective climate governance from the board. It answers the questions: How can you as a chair or board director exercise your role as a steward of sustainability in your company? How can you nurture the knowledge, capabilities and mindset you need to move from ambition to concrete action?

The discussion was moderated by Alexandra Bolton, Director of the Climate Governance Initiative, who was joined by an expert panel of speakers:

This webinar was a collaboration between the Climate Governance Initiative and Deloitte, and took a board-focused look at the strategy and positioning organisations need to consider when it comes to climate, nature, and sustainability.
